In October 2007 a business minded people decided to meet for breakfast for a catch up.
The inspiration was drawn from watching the movie "Braveheart", completing a 10 week video/ discussion series based on the book "Wild at Heart" by John Eldredge and prayer.
In reading books like "Anointed for Business" by Ed Silvoso and "Business by the Book" by Larry Burkett and our prayers focused on how we as Christians support and assist other Christians in business on a day-to-day basis.
Business is a domain that nearly every adult is involved in simply because they have a job. In some way large or small as Christians we participate in the battle of business. Some people are called into the business arena as their domain to do battle in the name of God. Some people like, William Wallace in Braveheart, are called to lead the charge into the business battlefield, while others are called to support those leaders in any way they can. Each of us called into this domain has a role to play regardless of its size, magnitude or visibility.
We want no man or woman left behind. To any Christian who is called to this domain, it is crucial that they are supported in the "battlefield". To know that they are supported can often make the difference between winning the battle and ultimately the war. This is the case in any situation, even in a sporting event where you know that the substitutes are ready when you have had enough so this principle not just about business.
This Internet site, www.inGod.biz , however, is a place for you to discover that you are not alone in your attempt to conduct business the way God intended it be done.
Our aim is to provide a forum for you and fellow business people as well as people wanting to do business with Christian business people to refer to. We plan to develope issues through a Forum discussion that impact Christians in business, provide advice and responses that could be helpful.
Throughout the years all have come under attack in the arena of business. From the boss to the employee, from the client to the supplier everyone had an encounter with someone who was trying to "put one across them".
For you to know that this is a forum where you can seek advice from others who have encountered similar situations to better equip you for any confrontation that may arise as a result of the differences of opinion.
Let's not forget the good stories where you were thrilled with someone's service. We want to hear of those too. People who deliver great service deserved to honored and provided the opportunity to serve more people doing what they are so good at love to do.
